We booked a Superior Queen Room with Balcony Sea view and it did not disappoint! What a view to wake up to and perfect for enjoying breakfast/watching the evening sunset. Very comfortable bed, large TV (not that we watched it) and a mini fridge that was refilled each morning with complimentary drinks and snacks. The continental breakfast (€19) was plentiful with an express option (€7) available if you're looking for a lighter option. Complimentary cake and fresh lemonade was available in the afternoon - another nice touch. We also made use of the gym which was great for a quick morning workout and enjoyed an evening meal in the hotel restaurant. The set 3-course meal (€32) was great value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a welcoming atmosphere. In terms of location, the beautiful old town is a 20-minute stroll away. The hotel has a deal with a private beach (Solenzara) where you can enjoy €5 discount per person. We paid €50 for a double lounger which was a lovely way to soak up the sun in comfort. Carnolès is the closest train station (10-minute walk) with direct links to Monaco (8 mins) and Nice (33 mins) while you can be in Italy within 15 mins and explore Ventimiglia. Antibes and Cannes are also easily reachable in a little over an hour. All in all, a fantastic stay and we'll definitely be back!

Incredible ocean view! You can't get any closer to the sea. Because it's outside of central Menton, it's much quieter and more residential here. You can hear the waves, and the turquoise sea is mesmerizing. Definitely get a sea view room. Though rooms are on the small side, they are bright, welcoming, cozy, and very well arranged. I think a woman designed the bathrooms because though small, somehow there is room for all my toiletries -- even a magnifying mirror and stool! Everything is super clean (I am very picky about this), brand new. Balcony is everything. Very roomy storage too! The addition of a fridge, luscious bathrobe and fancy slippers is fabulous. Beautiful property -- obviously a former villa. We really enjoyed a dinner at the hotel's bistro. We weren't expecting much but it was actually our favorite meal in Menton! Definitely order the roast pork - it was amazing and perfectly cooked. Staff is so very friendly and always ready to go the extra mile. Very efficient too, always smiling. We were so happy here we extended our stay. Safe private parking on site was also a big plus in a town where parking is a problem. (You need to pay, but you have to pay anywhere in Menton) We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, nice options and outside seating for more of that view.

The view from our room with balcony was AMAZING! We spent the evening drinking wine and watching the waves of the water! The room was smaller than we were expecting, thankfully we were only there for one night. The staff spoke excellent English and gave us perfect directions where to walk to catch the team to Monaco. And it was only 2 tram stops away. We were glad we paid the 25 extra euros to park next to the hotel door, especially because it was raining. Our room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The breakfast was very tasty and included very good eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit and pastries. The next time we are in the area we will for sure stay here!

Rebecca

The sea seems right outside the coast-facing rooms and the view from the table and chairs on the balcony is wonderful: morning sunshine and a long view of the bay. Note there is a road with traffic between the sea and the hotel, busy at peak times but also a bus route which is helpful. Breakfast was excellent and included in our room rate: buffet with lots of options and all very fresh and good. There is a private beach and bar belonging to the hotel but not in sight of it - 5 mins walk along the coast away from Menton.

This is our second stay here and we have loved it once again. The rooms are clean, spacious and offer an incredible view of the water while staff are exceptionally lovely and friendly! The buffet breakfast on offer, caters to all dietary needs including great gluten-free and dairy-free options. The location is perfect—just a 20-minute stroll into Menton town and close to Carnoles train station, making it convenient for exploring nearby towns. We absolutely love this hotel and will be back time and time again.
