A fantastic hotel. It has been modernised in a very sympathetic but appealing manner. The location is great and it has great views of the main Town if you book a beach front view room. Breakfast was comprehensive (hot and cold) and plentiful. The generous offer of complementary 'mini-bar' contents is a nice touch, as is the complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon.

We booked a Superior Queen Room with Balcony Sea view and it did not disappoint! What a view to wake up to and perfect for enjoying breakfast/watching the evening sunset. Very comfortable bed, large TV (not that we watched it) and a mini fridge that was refilled each morning with complimentary drinks and snacks. The continental breakfast (€19) was plentiful with an express option (€7) available if you're looking for a lighter option. Complimentary cake and fresh lemonade was available in the afternoon - another nice touch. We also made use of the gym which was great for a quick morning workout and enjoyed an evening meal in the hotel restaurant. The set 3-course meal (€32) was great value for money. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a welcoming atmosphere. In terms of location, the beautiful old town is a 20-minute stroll away. The hotel has a deal with a private beach (Solenzara) where you can enjoy €5 discount per person. We paid €50 for a double lounger which was a lovely way to soak up the sun in comfort. Carnolès is the closest train station (10-minute walk) with direct links to Monaco (8 mins) and Nice (33 mins) while you can be in Italy within 15 mins and explore Ventimiglia. Antibes and Cannes are also easily reachable in a little over an hour. All in all, a fantastic stay and we'll definitely be back!

I have stayed here before in a sea side suite but this time as I was travelling solo, I opted for a mountain view suite. Although it was a lot smaller, what I love about this hotel remained the same - beautiful French feel, lovely staff from the reception to the cleaners and the extra amenities available. What I also found to be extra special is some of the same team were still working here as my previous trip, so it felt very comfortable and safe. Not to mention the buffet and express breakfast choices are fantastic! Also love that it is close to the beach but also a little bit out of the busy town.

First off its location was amazing and everything the pictures made it be , the room was excellent with an outstanding view , the team made me extra welcome , and though I arrived nearly 3 hours early before check in , this was no problem by the time i had parked the car in the secure parking just a quick walk from the hotel my room was ready to go , some nice touches the mini bar was stocked and all items where free , coffee and waters free all afternoon , it was just a real pleasant relaxing experience made even the better as nothing was too much trouble .

I was here for the parade and festivities during the Lemon Festival. I was able to walk to all the events which was wonderful because of traffic. The hotel is very clean and beds are very comfortable. The staff were very helpful . I had a breakfast package, which was very much worth it and good. They have a lemon pound cake, which is probably one of the better ones I’ve ever had. The breakfast room has water views and outdoor seating with restaurants outdoors and a lovely garden setting. Everything in the mini bar is free and restocked daily. They have an afternoon coffee and cake at 2 PM. Fresh lemon water is always available.

This hotel was lovely, we splurged because it was our honeymoon and got a balcony and sea view room on the top floor! The view was incredible - worth every cent! Everything in the mini bar was free (snacks and drinks!) and restocked daily! The lemon cake and coffee/hot chocolate for afternoon tea is also so lovely and tasty. You can also take a hot choccie up to your room before they lock it up at 10pm too. So many nice touches to make you feel special and cared for!

This is our second stay here and we have loved it once again. The rooms are clean, spacious and offer an incredible view of the water while staff are exceptionally lovely and friendly! The buffet breakfast on offer, caters to all dietary needs including great gluten-free and dairy-free options. The location is perfect—just a 20-minute stroll into Menton town and close to Carnoles train station, making it convenient for exploring nearby towns. We absolutely love this hotel and will be back time and time again.

We enjoyed our stay of five nights. We found the bedroom and bathroom extremely well laid-out with everything we needed in a compact layout. It had a sea view and a very comfortable bed. Top marks for the hotel breakfast, well worth the extra cost, with tempting items all around us. Frank kept everything topped up and organised. He was also a fount of local knowledge and advice. A unique feature of this hotel is the complimentary lemon water and lemon cake served every afternoon.

The view from our room with balcony was AMAZING! We spent the evening drinking wine and watching the waves of the water! The room was smaller than we were expecting, thankfully we were only there for one night. The staff spoke excellent English and gave us perfect directions where to walk to catch the team to Monaco. And it was only 2 tram stops away. We were glad we paid the 25 extra euros to park next to the hotel door, especially because it was raining. Our room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The breakfast was very tasty and included very good eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit and pastries. The next time we are in the area we will for sure stay here!

The location was fantastic particularly if you have a sea view room. Breakfast staff were good, tea and coffee facilities and cake of an afternoon on the ground floor was also a nice touch.
